A loading slip is one of the most significant features of transport management software. It refers to the document that is used to record or truck loading of goods in the vehicle.
The slip is used by the transporters who rent out their vehicles to others.
The slip showcases the clear picture of the goods that are being loaded, their quantities and other relevant details for the purpose of shipping, inventory management or logistics by transporters who rent out their vehicles. It serves as a reliable record for managing inventory. The loading slip includes much information such as –
- Details of the items being loaded including name of the product, codes and more.
- The name of the party to whom the goods are sent.
- The location from where the goods are being shipped and where they are dispatched.
- They contain the booking number.
- The loading slip also includes weight of the goods along with their description.
- It also includes payment details including advanced received and balance amount pending.
- The name of the driver is also included in the loading slip.
- Freight details, Munshiana, TDS information all are included in the loading slip.

The loading slip contains the detail of party name.
The name of the person to be contacted is to be considered.
The branch code from which the goods are dispatched.
The loading slip contains the address, contact no, GST No and the Email ID of the person to whom the goods are dispatched.
Freight Detail
The loading slip contains freight details. It is the normal charges for transportation of goods from one place to another.
It contains the amount of TDS that is deducted from the freight.
These are the other charges that are levied when renting out vehicle. This amount is also included in the loading slip.
The detail of advanced payment is included.
The balance amount received is also mentioned in the slip.
The charges of diesel received are also included
The balance receivable amount is shown after automatic calculation of charges and the amount received.
Other charges- Extra charges of detention are also levied on the clients in case the vehicle is not loaded and not is parked for certain time period.
